At a loss
As the title says, I'm at a loss.
My dwarf hates playpens, I've tried a load of different kinds, sizes, empty, full of toys, half full of toys etc, but she hates them all. She's stressed and anxious in them, she hates the bathtub and she hates free roaming too. The only thing she likes is her ball. She'll climb into it and really enjoys it.
I let her in it for 15 minutes every night and make sure to handle her before putting her back in her cage but she doesn't like being handled much and is so fast it's unreal! She nose drives for freedom every time.
I don't feel like it's enough interaction for her but I don't want to force her to do things she hates, that's cruel.
She doesn't want the ball after about 15-20 minutes and if I offer it to her twice in one night 9/10 she dorsnt want to go back in and seems happy running on her wheel or running around in her cage.
Is this ok?

Re: At a loss
Shall I move things around in her cage to keep it interesting for her? Like move her wheel downstairs and move her tubes and toys around but leave her bottle and houses in the same place?

Re: At a loss
Go with what your hamster likes/wants. You could try moving things, but watch her reaction and if she seams stressed you might have to put things back to how they were. It might be a good idea to take a photo before moving anything, to make it easier to put them back in their original place.
