How to tire out baby syrian
Yogi who is about 12/15 weeks old is full of energy. I put him in his ball at night for a little while, then maybe let him climb the stairs and roam about at top of landing. And he also might play in his play box for a wee while, but hes still a bundle of energy and when i put him back in cage he chews his bars a lot. How can i give him more to do to exhaust him a bit.

Re: How to tire out baby syrian
He sounds like a real bundle of fun! I don't think you can tire them out lol. It maybe partly depends what time of night it is. The later it is the more the active they are. Which is why they run in their wheel at night.
Are you finding he is too fast to handle? If so maybe try waking him a bit earlier at night with some cage noise when putting food out. He might be a bit dopier and slower earlier on

Food hidden in folded cardboard tubes or hidden around the cage can help keep him busy when he goes back into his cage after the out of cage activities.

He's started getting up earlier as he knows he will get put in his ball. Think I've just forgotten what its like to have a baby ham lol.

Re: How to tire out baby syrian
They are fast aren't they ha ha. I found it strange going from a sedentary ageing Syrian to a baby hamster as well
