After groggily coming down for a drink of water, Oakie picked up a piece of shredded loo roll that had fallen down, and carried it in his mouth like a dog to his bed. He then crept in and continued his slumber.

Hehe my Little Mo is always up in the morning, going round picking up stray bits of tissue and carrying them back to her house.
When I lift the lid of her house in the evening to clean out poos I'm amazed at how she has arranged her bed. Its like a little cocoon - theres a ball shape hole in the middle with sculptured paper all around
So we both have tidy hamsters! Oakie's learning to sculpt the tissue paper - unfortunately he had fluffy bedding not long ago as I didn't know it was bad, so he's still getting used to the shredded stuff.

Koda is quite untidy. When I clean his house out I always put a handful or two of fresh bedding in there for him. When he goes back in, he promptly kicks it all outside and then puts it back in bit by bit, stuffing his pouches with it and going backwards and forwards in and out until he's satisfied. There is always a big pile outside of his door though, a real mess lol.

Veronica was the same, she would always pick bits up and take them back to bed. Inside she would sculpt and mould it so it was tightly packed around her... bless.
