Lettuce if fine btw! Not too often but if they have the more watery veg they just drink a little less.

We buy a bag of lettuce at the grocery store a lot. Is that okay for Harley? It's lettuce that is packaged by the company who makes it and is sold at our grocery store. It's not the head of lettuce, it's different kinds of lettuces that are in store brands, if you know what i mean?

Is it iceburg lettuce? That is a very watery type which is best avoided. Some lettuce could be fed as an occasional treat, but there are plenty other fresh vegetables to choose from without having to use lettuce!

Mixed lettuce leaves are fine, try to give as much variety of veg as possible though (within the safe list) & not too much of any one thing, maybe aim for a different veg each day for at least 3 days before giving the same again.

I'm glad Harley is ok. I doubt that the lettuce is what was making her sick. There are better veggies to feed them, because its nutritional value is lower than others, but lettuce isn't harmful per se. I would follow other people's advice and I would try to reduce the amount of lettuce that you feed her and try to add variety. As long as her stools are hard lettuce shouldn't be causing her being ill
