Default Any advice?

Hello so it is me again haha!
I posted a thread a while back asking about what do with Basil because he stays in his den until very very late.
After that I had a break through and I had a great routine of a 9pm get up, and he was so great. He got up as soon as he heard me and was really happy to come out and play and I finally thought I had won the battle.
But for the last 2 nights he has started to not come out when I call. I have tried talking to him, offering him food, shaking his food box, gently rustling his bedding and all he ever does is poke his head out, and if im lucky his body, but not enough that i could pick him up.
He always has his ears up (but not pushed forward) and looks very happy and content but then looks at me for a second and shuffles back inside to his house.
It's sounds silly but I get quite upset about it because he really means a lot to me and I just hate the thought of not getting him out for play time.
Can anybody help? Thank you so much.

Does everything seem alright with him in general? Is he eating or drinking any less? How about his exercise habits, is he running on his wheel less or coming out of his hut less often? It may be worth it to pull him out early (wake him up gently and with treats) and give him a thorough health check. Make sure all is well with him and he isn't doing poorly. He may not be feeling well and that could be the source of his issue. Hope everything is alright, let us know how he's doing

This probably won't help, but if he is staying up late, then surely he will also be going back to bed late? I find that Mushu wakes up at 7pm and goes to sleep at 8am. So, I can get him out after dinner in the evenings and after breakfast in the mornings (I am an early riser). That must mean Mushu is awake for 13 hours. If Basil wakes up at 9pm and is active for a similar amount of time to Mushu, then he would be up until 10am in the morning. Could you possibly get him out in the morning instead? Even if he goes to bed at, say, 7am, could you get up at 6am?

Well he was definately fine 2 days ago? I check him everytime I get him out. He is definately eating and drinking, and seems healthy to me. I havent seen him enough to inspect him the last 2 days so I will definately try and wake him up but he just loves his hut so much its hard to get him out of there.

Thats a really good idea thanks. He is normally up at around 6 when I leave for school but the only problem is, I don't have enough time in the mornings to get him out and get ready for school... I could always try and adapt and maybe get up even earlier though! I will definately try and see if that works thank you.
