Titania is quite strange, either she's running all over me or she starts sleeping on my hand (it happened once before!)

Bless. I'd be terrified of moving in case she fell off!

It really depends, hamster personalities are so diverse and unique, just like people! For some, they'll happily crawl into your hand and take a nap on day 1. Some hamsters do not like being touched at all and will never be 'tame' (tame to me means not frightened or violent, so technically a hamster that doesn't like being touches but is nice IS tame, but not in the social aspect). Most hamsters take about 3 weeks to 1.5 months to be SUPER comfortable, but I've seen a lot of different personalities. But socializing them from an early age can encourage social skills and ability to trust humans. While I did say hamster personalities matter, you can encourage trust as well by taming early in their life. They'll be more likely to be tame and social, but no promises.

My Robo is untame, nippy, bit displays no signs of distress or anxiety. Robo hams tend to be less easy to tame, so this is no surprise. Syrians are quickest to be loving and friendly, but all hamsters CAN be.

Sorry about that.

No need to apologise. It’s an easy mistske to make - being a long haired hamster he has a skirt for crying out loud! Though, he would rather it be referred to as a kilt
