Re-Taming Hamster?
I tamed my hamster a few months back when I wasn't busy and it was summer. When fall came, and school set in, I wasn't able to hold my hamster and take her out as much as I should have. Now I've noticed that my hamster, Angel, barely recognizes me, is a bit skittish, and always tries to nibble my hand when I put it into the cage. She always was so talkative and tame, but I think that she hasn't had enough human contact with me. She is currently 10 months old, is it possible to re-tame her?

Re: Re-Taming Hamster?
Definately. Just go back to the start with chatting to her and putting tissue under your arm or up your sleeve and then giving it to Angel to make a bed with (white toilet tissue is best).
Then gradually get her used to your hand and feed her treats. Hopefully you will soon be the best of friends again.
Eta I make it sound so easy! My two roborovskis have never been tame (despite my best efforts) but two of the syrians are very chilled and allow strokies.

Re: Re-Taming Hamster?
As Flowerfairy stated, yes taming is still possible! Regain her trust again by doing the taming techniques, and if you don't feel confident with handling because of the nibbling use gloves. However, it's ideal that she gets used to your scent and not the glove scent.
