That might be worth a try, but it will be some time before they will be ready for that.
Right now he is "scenting" some toilet paper. He is so down about it that he doesn't even want to talk about it. I'm a little concerned that he might be on his way to simply giving up.
I should explain that he already has a severe depression and getting Zelda, although he didn't want to at the time, has actually helped his depression. So it makes sense that everything is pretty much just going to hell for him right now.
It's not really on subject, but still relevant for the situation in my opinion.
I'm putting his scent in her cage for now and hopefully he will be ready for an attempt around the time she gets used to his smell.
