Hamsters in same room p2
Hey, i wrote below about having both male syrians in the same room different cages. I added that when i put them apart both went very hyper, my hamster (9 months) must have smelt him frim his toy i put in the playpen by accident. Since then he's been hyper for hours (this is unlike him), hes now climbing the bars, same with new hamster. They both are now bar chewing (facing eachother) and its driving me insane as i'm stressed in general I want them to be peaceful and happy. I understand the new hamster bar chewing but my hamster hasn't done it for months. Please help! My mum doesn't want Bobby anywhere but in the livingroom but it doesnt seem to be working ...

Re: Hamsters in same room p2
Try placing something solid between the cages so they can't actually see each other. However this seems like just two boys trying to prove to the other they are top hamster, and it should calm down after they finally see there is no threat of their territory being taken over by the other hamster.
