Flying saucers cause side arching even with large sized wheels Plus, they take up a ton of floor space so if your cage already isn't very big that is a major problem.A Wodent Wheel, the P@H wheel that is suggested,or even something like a Silent Runner would be a great idea. For the Silent Runner,it doesn't have anything smaller than 9 inches however it is very light so it would probably be just fine for a robo.

I think the most important thing is just making sure the wheel is upright and has a solid running surface.Sometimes you may have to kind of deal with a bit of noise, but there are some relatively quiet options like a DIY bucket wheel or other wheels may work just as good.

Oh I didn't know side arching could happen my partner really wants a saucer but I will let him know.

I live in Ireland so pet shops don't have a great selection where I am. Is the wodent wheel available online? Or the p@home one? We don't have a p@home here. If I knew we were getting a robo I would have picked him up one when we were in England haha.

I think this is probably the P@H wheel you're looking for, the wodent wheels aren't always easy to get hold of but should be available online if you search, the 20cm wooden karlie wheel should be fine for a robo too, it does need painting with Plastikote to pee proof it though!

The cage is fully covered with sawdust apart from his massive hiding bed which just has bedding - tissue paper. I have a big bowl in there with sand which he hasn't tried yet. He stays close to his bed so he can hide, which means I may have to move his water bowl closer!

I will have a look! Thank you!

And the links for the wheel, I will have a gander after work and may order one on Thursday (pay day) if I haven't gone to a pet shop by then
