If it was on sisal rope, that does tend to fray and spread a bit and it can be annoying. It would be edible though so it isn't a concern like cotton is Hopefully it clears up by itself!

The gag reflex could just be her trying to empty her pouches, when dwarf hams pouch large things like pumpkin seeds it can look a bit extreme when they take them out again but it is possible she has something stuck in there.
Does she have a sand bath? If not that may be why her coat looks greasy.

She seemed to be fine yesterday, very cheerful and curious, still ignoring me and my hand but at least she's not terrified here's the progress. She didn't seem to have any pouch issues yesterday. We broke bigger pieces of food in halves so hopefully she won't struggle anymore.

Another important thing is that we bought her biggest Samla box available and she loves it. She turned on the explorer mode. She left her old nesting spot and she chose quite big piece of wood as her hideout. She has plenty of toys and a sand bath as @cypher suggested. I don't think she knows how to use it though. I mean it seems like she loves it, it's her favourite place to visit every few minutes (short break from the wheel) but she's just trying to burrow in it. At least it keeps her entertained.

Thanks a lot for your tips, we really appreciate it
