Anti social hamster?
I got my hamster the 30th of October last year. She's been fine and friendly with everyone but recently she's turned vicious, she bites anyone that tries to give her attention or feed her. One minute she's fine sitting on me the next she's biting me. She always has a clean cage, fresh food, clean water and toys to play with along with treats. How can I get her to trust me again and to stop wanting to tear my head off?

Re: Anti social hamster?
Hello and welcome to the forum.
Sorry to hear your little lady seems out of sorts. Any sudden change in behaviour is often a sign of something wrong healthwise. Are you able to scruff her in a towel to check her over for any signs of illness? Have her habits changed at all?
If she seems fine sometimes going back to when you got her is the best way. Removing "hidey toys" and using lots of treats and food.
Im sure the other members will have some other tips also. Hope things work out, keep us updated

Re: Anti social hamster?
I'd agree that such a change is usually a sign of pain or illness, a friendly ham won't normally begin to bite unless something is wrong, if there's been no changes in her environment that might have upset her then I would do a health check or get your vet to have a look at her if you don't feel confident doing it yourself.
