Default Hey hammie friends...

... it's been almost 10 years since I had hamsters and really I was experienced back then. NOW I have Beauty who's very tame (do I say that right) but she doesn't know me wel yet so diving in the cage and picking her up :P almost cost me a lost hamster she escaped 3 times outta my hands (I was quicker) and she didn't bite (don't worry no squeshed hammie) but she obvliously had trouble adjusting, with me, my scent, my voice. I can't recall how it was back then.
So although she's not biting (good breeder taming her) sheesh my hamster English is really wacky :P I believe she really has to get used to me, my scent, my mood, my ritm and the other way around...

It might sound stupid are there little things I can do, during the night, when I wake up and see she's awake but drowsy... like giving a healthy snack? ANYONE? My memory lacks, I used to pick them up back then when they were in the feeding bowl, but Miss drama Beauty queen :P emmediatly flees

So small tips, idea's... tricks to win her trust?? Without digging her out during the way

Thank you, this might sound stupid I just want to get her used to me... on a friendly way not by scaring her away... so please advice.

The big things I remember: large cage as possible, especially a Syrian but my cage is fit for both Rusian and Syrian men as one time I had 5 hamsters with a large cage in my sleepingroom

It's just the details... I REALLY don't wanna mess up

You haven't had her very long so she will need a little more time to settle in probably, have you done the tissue trick with her (just in case you don't know that's putting some toilet tissue up your sleeve for a few hours then putting that in the cage & repeating daily for a while), if not I would do that for a while as it really does help them to get to know your scent & not see it as threatening.
Offering her a seed or two if you see her in the night should encourage her! Don't try to pick her up or force your hand on her though, just put your hand close to her & let her come & take it from you, even if she's not keen to begin with she soon will be.
Don't try to rush things, it's always best to go slow & at their pace.
Once she's more confident you may find interacting with her easier out of the cage, find something she's happy to climb into like a cup or tube then carry her to a safe play area with some toys & maybe some treats.
