Re: What kind of personality does your hamster have?
Amiga is a sweet heart and will happily cuddle you for some time and crawl all over you but she will make it clear when she has enough by attempting to make a run for it (even if you're about to put her back and she nearly runs out of your hands) :P She does like to nibble your hands but it doesn't hurt. I've been properly bitten by hams before and its defo not a proper bite. :P She knows she is cute and likes to sleep with her head peeking out of her house. She is fairly energetic but not nearly as energetic as her brother.
Rubix is a character he is cute and knows it, he is cheeky and has so much energy and has a bit of a cage possessive problem but there are a few ways around it (I discovered he isn't funny about being scooped out of the base if I take the top part of his cage off) He doesn't like being fed through the bars or being reached through either cage doors or he bites but out of the cage he's an absolute sweetie and doesn't mind too much about a quick cuddle but would much rather be on the go and is my first hamster to actually enjoy his exercise ball. :P

Re: What kind of personality does your hamster have?
Great thread! Charlie is a cross between a sweet baby and a grumpy old man lol! He can be so sweet sometimes and can have a young baby look and attitude. But he can also have a laid back lazy way sometimes and make his feelings known if he isn't happy with something! He has an excellent range of "looks" - but I'm sure they all have that. He's also very particular, clean and tidy and a bit nervy at times. Nothing is to move in his cage - even by an inch - although he copes with change a bit better than he used to - but I try and leave everything the same for him.

Re: What kind of personality does your hamster have?
Sherbet my Rust Banded Dominant Spot Syrian hamster, who is: - Extremely friendly - loves to be handled and cuddled, she has an amazing bond with me and when she has playtime she always tries to find were I am. Will climb onto my hand as soon as it goes in her cage
- Hyperactive- rather be out of her cage than in. Loves running on her wheels and her play times!
- Not a bright spark- can't open a monkey nut, today she tried scratching herself but instead of scratching behind her ear she was unaware she was actually scratching her bendy bridge. Always taking the hardest option when there is an easy option.
- Loves Food - Food comes first she is always looking for food, and if she thinks you are hiding food from her when you are not she is not happy, this leads to her becoming a little angry
- Deep Sleeper - She loves her beauty sleep. When I was going to get her when she was a baby she was still fast asleep when her sisters were trying to impress. She enjoys to snuggle around my neck but she gradually starts to crawl along my shoulder and makes little noises like she is dreaming, if you try to wake her she begins chattering her teeth.
- Extremely vocal - she loves to voice her opinion, if she thinks you are not giving her enough attention she will let you know.
- Trouble maker - a favourite hobby of hers if she not causing trouble she is asleep or eating. Chews holes in some of my clothes with out me realising, chews cage bars, climbs bars, attempted monkey barring, likes to make a mess.
- Determined - don't try and get in her way or stop her doing anything, if she wants to do something she will and she won't let anything stop her. I.e. Chews cardboard and all chews which stop her bar chewing
- Easily bored - she becomes easily bored with her cage layout after a week in which is when she starts to bar chew, so I rearrange the toys in her cage and she is happy again.
- Expressive - her facial expressions are priceless
- Moody - if something annoys her she gets real grumpy, I.e getting woken up, being in her playpen she rather be on the outside or when she doesn't get her playtime
- Loving and Caring - She gives me so much love!. Also she won't pee on me instead she become a little restless I place her down in her cage or playpen and she pee there instead.
To sum Sherbet up she is simply amazing!

Re: What kind of personality does your hamster have?
Sherbert has a lot of similarities to Kashi, esp the hyperactive and easily bored! Never a dull moment with a hamster like that.

Re: What kind of personality does your hamster have?
Milo can be timid yet is brave at times. He takes a while to get up and run about but isnt afraid of people and has never bit or been aggressive. He is a very laid back hammy and spends a lot of time thinking about things lol, he loves to just lay down and dig. He also loves to make various food hoards and various places to nest.

Just got two Robos. Never had Robos before. I call them my "crack babies" because they're high on crack all the time.
