Morning all!!

Well i had just walked in from doing a party last night and decided to feed my brude....did that then sat down on the sofa... suddenly i see GIZMO runnning along the floor!

Of course my first reaction was how did i not shut the cage properly... i had?! Anyways turned the cage round and she had not only managed to eat through her house (one of the wooden medium sided huts from P@H) but also where she had been chewing at the watter bottle hole (its a Ferplast Duna) she had continued down and how there was a hole big enough to fit at least 4 fingers thorugh.... no wonder she escaped!!

THIS WAS NOT THERE WHEN I CLEANED HER SUNDAY! Busy lil bee !! Anyways the O/H covered the hole by using a old bit of cage and covering it up.... im now worried that she will continue chewing down and ill loose her???

Anyone any ideas? or do i just give up and buy a barred cage like a Cambridge??

I have heard of quite a few who have done this. We have had the water bottle holes chewed a bit and have had to superglue a bit of perpex over the hole on both sides which did stop it. She may start on the clip attachments next! Some people find they do not chew in a large smooth sided bin cage. A wire cage may be the answer but then again she may frantically bar chew in that. It is difficult to know. You could try and pick up a caimbridge cheap on e bay to try.
