She has had a really rough time poor girl, I do hope you can continue to help her.
It does sound as though she had a bad reaction to the antibiotics, it can be a bit much for them if they need a lot being so tiny.
I can only think that your best way forward would be to feed her soft foods that she can eat easily, hamster mix or pellets soaked in water, porridge & baby foods (without sugar or salt & seasonings) can all work well but you will probably need to get her teeth clipped regularly so she can continue to eat those foods, with the front teeth clipped she should be able to manage some regular hamster dry food too.
If she gets stronger it may still be worth considering having the back teeth & pouches checked at some point, I may be wrong but I think this can sometimes be done with sedation rather than a full anaesthetic, I guess that may depend on the individual vets approach though.
Good luck with your little one.

Yes, those lower teeth are different lengths and more apart than they should be ideally, but if your vet scruffs her, clips each tooth to the same length, this will help and it can be done quickly. That`s not to say it`s not less traumatic for the animal, but it`s safer than giving them gas although sometimes a small light amount can help make them sleepy while this is done. It doesn`t knock them out, just makes them a little woosy.

Bash and break up anything too big in her food mix and as cypher suggested, soften foods for her to enjoy and manage. We get a food in the UK called Supreme Science Selective and it`s a type of heart-shaped biscuit complete food for hamsters and is so easy to break up, soak, or mix with other things like mashed up nuts, sunflower seed hearts and mashed pumpkin seeds. I use a pestle & mortar to make these treats:

one sunflower seed (shelled)
one pumpkin seed (green and shelled)
half a peanut
one dry mealworm
small piece of science selective biscuits (you could use a small piece of milk bone instead)

Place these in the P&M and mash them into a fine powder. Add a tiny drop of cold water. Pull together with a small spoon until combined, but not too wet. Allow to dry. Cut pieces in half and feed as a yummy treat! They smell nutty and usually don`t last long!!! x

You can clip the teeth yourself but it can be tricky as the roots of the teeth can break if you're not careful, this can even happen when the vet clips them sometimes, the only alternative is grinding under anaesthetic which is too much for a little ham that needs it done on a regular basis. Clipping does sometimes requite a little sedation but my little guy was just fine without having his done so hopefully Maddie is too.
If you do decide to try it yourself do get the vet to show you how first, I wouldn't be brave enough to do it myself tbh!

The vet clipped them, but she was not happy with the result. Maddie faught too hard and she couldn't get them even. She wanted to clip a bit off her top teeth as well but Maddies tongue was all over the place and she gave up.

She said since the teeth edges were jagged to watch and see if they splintered.

An hour alter I got home (her vet is in another city) I opened her mouth to check on her and the bottom room on the left in the picture split on a slant from the middle of the top of tooth to out the side of the tooth about halfway down. Vet said to leave it as long as she still could eat.

Maddie is showing interest in food, but she can't chew for long right now. She used to pig out until she was full and stop. Now she picks a piece of food, takes a few bites, and cheeks it to try again in a few minutes. So far all she has eaten completely. In one go was a raisin in a hammy food mix. She's haD a few sets and she attempted a pellet today. Vet said to return to the vet if she loses interest completely in the food.

Poor Maddie it sounds as though she's going to be struggling with her food for a while.
It might be better for the vet to sedate her next time so she can do a thorough job without stressing Maddie out too much.

I would try giving her some soft foods if you haven't already, when mine had teeth problems I always provided dry food so he could chew & hopefully keep his teeth down when he could but also gave him soaked mix & porridge or baby food so there was always something he would be able to manage.

ETA I forgot to say about the raisins in her mix, I would just remove those, if she's a hybrid she shouldn't have anything that sweet & being sweet & sticky any bacteria in her mouth or pouches are going to have a field day so that could aggravate the infection she's been getting there.

It sounds like a rush job and a whiff of light gas would have given the vet a bit more control and got the teeth more aligned. I would wait a few days and if she`s not managing, go back and say this is what you want done. She can`t eat if she`s in any pain or her teeth are not straight. x
