I always kept boys as a child so I had planned to get a boy this time (supposedly my daughter's pet!). But Harvey was from a pet shop abd turned out to be a girl!
She's certainly whiffy! She was easy to tame and doesn't bite, but out of cage she would prefer to make a run for it. My boy hamsters would happily climb on me or play with toys in the middle of the floor. But H will make a tun for it! She's lovely though, will come up to the bars for treats and sits in her sand bath listening to my daughter reading.
