Hammys becoming jumpy.
So, I've had Loki for nearly 6 months and from day one he was friendly and hand tame. Recently we have had to move him into the living room because the bedroom has damp. He seemed fine but for the last few weeks he has been incredibly jumpy, he hasn't bit me at all but he turns as if to do it and I just don't know why; he's also dug down in his bed so it's almost like a cosy trench which is a new one.
Does anyone know what it could be? Other changes have been fireworks (which have been on and off since the start of the month) and people in the upstairs flat have a young kid and their land Lord hasn't insulated properly so there can be banging from above. I really don't know what to do.
I should add he is fine eating and drinking, he will still roll in his ball and have some time sat on us but he becomes noticible jumpy.

Re: Hammys becoming jumpy.
Going from a bedroom which I imagine is quiet most of the time to a living room which has more going on plus the additional noises will probably be quite unsettling for him, how long since you moved him? I would just give him some time & see if he adjusts & settles down again.

Re: Hammys becoming jumpy.
He's been in since the start of November and the cold setting in. We are thinking maybe popping him in the back room as that's where he always runs in his ball and its cosy. I just don't know if moving him again is better or worse for him.

Re: Hammys becoming jumpy.
If he hasn't really settled in almost a month, is familiar with the other room & it's cosy & maybe quieter I'd be inclined to give it a go.

Re: Hammys becoming jumpy.
Thank you cypher. I think we will get him moved tonight. Hopefully that will help him, it's horrid seeing my friendly little boy so nervous. X

Hope Loki feels more settled when you move him into the warmer room.
