Default Shaking in new cage?

Ive had Theo for about 4 weeks (tomorrow it'll be 4 weeks) and today w upgraded his cage for a larger size as we personally felt his was a little too small. I put his ball in his cage and then moved that to the entrance of his new one and he climbed in running around and exploring- happy as can be. However i noticed that when he came up to me near the bars he was shaking a little. Not majorly just a little.
Is this because he was stressed or excited? Im going to transition him into the new cage slowly so give him around half an hour a night for the next couple of days to get him used to it in hopes that this will prevent any stress and anxiety.
At the moment currently in his ball and running around extremely happy.

Any advice would be appreciated

I've noticed my Pip generaly does the walk-shake whenever she is in a new environment. I think it's just that they are unsure, and thus a little extra carefull. See how your hammie is doing tomorrow. I bet once they scent the place the shaking will stop.

Thank you Would you recommend leaving him in there now or slowly transitioning him in?

My Syrian gets a bit shakey and cautious when she's exploring new places too. I don't think it's fear or stress so much as staying alert in case they need to run away from something

I would transition it over a couple of days, move half of his current substrate into the cage so it smells like him and maybe a couple of toys, then give him a couple of days just to explore it during play time and then more him and the rest of his stuff in? Try and keep the overall layout of the new cage the same and again, try and put his old bedding and substrate in there too to keep it smelling familiar and he should be fine
