Music and Hamsters

So Cujo's "favorite" song is Friends(With Faustix) by Grabbitz. He also enjoys listening to Noisestorm by Surge and the other Monstercat Podcasts and EDM music with me. I dont know whether its because im always listening to it, and he learned to associate me with the music, but whenever it comes on, he is usually at the bars, wanting to play, be picked up, is generally very active. Ill give him a treat and he will bob his head to the beat while eating. Anybody elses hammies like music? If so what kind and what are their reactions. Is there anybody out there that when they play something, their hammie becomes mad? If so what?

Charlie likes nursery rhymes sung by children, and some classical music. His favourite childrens song is 'Run Rabbit Run' sung by Flannagan and Allen - very old fashioned gentle sound, but I don't think he'd like it if he understood the words lol!

Cujo also seems to like Owl City. We listened to his album Ocean Eyes earlier today.

Meat used to like the music by the singer that he was named after, although I think that's partly down to the fact that I like Meat Loaf so much that I play his albums a fair bit. I think he probably learnt to associate the sound with me which is why he liked it so much.

His favourites seemed to be Los Angeloser, You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth and Alive as he'd be at his liveliest when those were playing.

So far May hasn't shown any preference but I'm tempted to see if she'll develop a like for 'Killer Queen'.

I used to bring Butts in to sit with me in the living room to listen to a friends radio show, she played a lot of old hip hop and jazzy stuff which she seemed to like. She would get requests played for her on the west coast of Canada from Belfast too lol

Cc doesn't like me making noise in her room *ahem* so she either chews bars like a maniac or huffs and goes to bed and the most I can get away with is watching Masterchef quietly in the corner.
