Default Peanut wants attention...

Peanut does this every morning, when he hear me come into the room (he knows that he will get a bit of fresh vegetable), he also does it throughout the day, when he hears me. I'm thinking he just wants attention, since he crawls on my hand, as soon as I put it down to him. - but is this normal behaviour?

Meat does the same thing.

I often think that it's because he's learnt to associate me with being picked up, made a fuss of and then given a treat. I guess it's natural to seek attention that has a positive outcome and it's something that most animals (and humans) will do from time to time.

Completely normal behaviour, in fact, I wish my hammy was that happy to see me lol! Half of the time she in ignores my hand when I put it in her cage lol!
