It could be for several reasons she is doing this. First check the water bottle to make sure it's working properly. If it's working properly, then she's most likely needs to be re-directed to doing something else.
You could add boredom breakers, which can simply be made from things you may have around the house, to keep her occupied and busy while in her cage. Hamsters are inquisitive and some need things to keep them busy.
You can make treat rolls- or put toilet paper tubes if she chews on cardboard in her cage.
I put a few nuts and a piece of dried fruit in a toilet paper tube- i cut the tube in half, stuff it then wrap it with a piece of paper towel, like a candy wrapper. My Syrians love this!! Keeps them busy, for awhile.
You can also put a peanut in a wicker ball- same concept.
Another thing you can try, is " scatter" seeds/nuts around your hamsters cage, so ham spends time foraging, which comes natural for hamsters to do.
Hide treats around hams cage, in tunnels, on ledges.
You can also put a few shelled peanuts in your hams cage, ham will work at getting to the nut.
