My hamster is probably less than 6 months old and I've had her for a month or so now. She just squeaks often, always when she's in her bedding. She isn't lethargic or anything, eats and drinks fine, and doesn't breathe weird or anything of concern.

Yes they do! It's quite normal for some hams while others are really quiet.
It always makes me smile when mine are doing it, wondering what they dream about lol!
