Default Hamster between 2 homes?

Hello! First things first: Hettie has turned out to be Humphrey.
Anyway, I stay at my boyfriend's house on fridays and saturdays, and Humphrey has been coming with me because I obviously don't want to leave him every weekend. He just comes in his normal cage, as Chris' car is quite big so it fits fine. He never seems distressed or upset while he's in the car (its only about 5 minutes travelling). However, I'm becoming a bit worried that all this moving is making him a bit unsettled because he can be a bit shy and slow to interact with us a lot of the time.
What are your thoughts? Do you think I should leave him at home or continue to bring him with me? I'm worried that neither are ideal situations.

Hi there,
I believe moving him back and forth can be quiet stressful, through noise, new smells etc. supply him with enough food and water for 2 days and he will be fine whilst your away, it's probably a lot better for him to stay at home where he is used to everything. Try it and see if he is any better !

So it's Humphrey!
I think it's perfectly normal to worry about him getting stressed, but sometimes as hammie owners we worry too much.
I think you should continue taking him with you, the travel isn't long, put in a nice treat like some cucumber before you set of and he'll busy himself with that for the short journey.
I think he would be a bit stressed if you left him behind for those 2 days and your boyfriend is happy for him to stay. Once he gets into the same routine, he'll be totally fine.
