My Syrian Arya has been chewing on the plastic of her cage. She's in a meshed ZZ2 and managed to get her nose into the little holes that held a plastic detachable bit for holding hay/straw for guinea pigs. She left it well alone for a long time but I noticed last night that she'd made the holes a lot worse. I tried to plug them up with some chew sticks but she got through those in a flash and I'm wondering what else I can do to encourage her to stop this? I don't have enough money to buy her another cage for another month or so and I'm terrible with DIY (I'm willing to give it a try though) Is there anything anyone could recommend to deter her from chewing and make her cage a bit more secure again?
Thanks
