Default How to give Hammy treats without him thinking my fingers are also for munching?

I order to gain the trust of my new hamster, Honey, I feed him sunflower seeds for treats (the standard fare). But even when I don't have seeds and my hands are freshly washed, he always goes in for a nibble, and it is not pleasant. Is there anyway to remedy this? Maybe offer him a small bowl with seeds, rather than using my hands?
-Toby never did this, so I have no experience dealing with it

My syrian did this when she was young, I was able to get her to stop by simply pulling my finger away when she went in for a taste. After a while I think she just figured it out. I would pull my finger away for a second, then return it for her to sniff. Usually the second time there was no treat and she didn't have any interest in my fingers. After a couple of weeks she stopped entirely.

My newest hamster is doing this too. I just do as NiceCrocs does and hopefully he'll get the message after a while that hands aren't for nibbling!
