Default Finger nipping help...possibly

I don't know if this might help anyone who's getting their finger tips nipped but I had a fluke success today!
While Mickle has been great taking food from my fingers she has been biting if I offer her food on the palm of my hand but today after I'd had her in the playpen for a little while I put her back in the cage, she had a bit of a run on her saucer then just sat there looking at me so I thought I'd risk it again but I slid the tips of my fingers under the saucer & she finally clocked where the food was & ate it quite happily. After that I offered her my whole hand with no food & she just gave it a sniff & seemed quite chilled out.
Could have been a fluke but maybe worth a try & I guess it would work when they sit on anything with a bit of space under it.

Good idea, Cypher. I'll try anything to avoid the possible blood gushing effect of a hamster bite!

I'm going to try that. Hector, emboldened after yesterday's first out of cage training, was today trying my hand everytime I put my palm down. Hmmm, I think I liked him better when he was shy
