Grumpy gave me the fright of my life yesterday....

So I had cleaned them both out and put them back in their cages,Moo was running about all over the place but Grumpy was just no where to be seen I started to get worried and thought maybe he had got out somehow and then I suddenly saw the shavings move in the bottom of the cage and he had buried himself and gone to sleep haha

Jasper has done that to me a few times, they can be worrying little creatures! Glad Grumpy is safe

Glad he's ok. I know this has nothing to do with hamsters but in my frogs/toads vivarium sometimes there is one frog or toad that i can't find. once i searched for about half an hour then after i finished i noticed the 'missing' toad was in their water dish. I panicked like crazy

Lol just one of their many "things to make our humans panic" I suppose.
Does anyone else's hamster do anything strange or funny??

My hamsters do the same tricks with me! I use a layer of more than 5 cm because I love how they play in it and sometimes they stay hided in it for more than a half an hour!
