Default Grannicks Bitter Apple Spray

I posted about it earlier but I should have given a better title.

Grannicks Bitter Apple Spray for Small Animals 8 fl. oz. (236 ml) for All Small Animals

Saw it and wondered if it would be worth me getting to try and discourage the silicone chewing. I've seen varying reviews, but not many dealing with hamsters. Safe, not safe? Just ignore the silicone chewing? I want to rip up the silicone in her cage, but haven't gotten a chance since I don't have the tools right now and I'm sick (so no handling).

She could be pregnant, but I would probably not receive the product until she's clear and definitely wouldn't use it until I know for sure she's not pregnant (and if she was, and had pups never around the pups).

I'm just wondering if it's a safe alternative. I'm going to grab her a new hut and some new chew toys (she already has a bunch but I may as well grab more) and hopefully she'll find something better to chew on.

It wears off and doesn't work that I ever knew. Besides, the sealant won't hurt her. My furries have all chewed it and were fine.

I figured it was too gimmicky. It's not so bad except when she rattles things against the side of the tank as she chews lol. It's woken us up most nights.
