Poooo throwing??

I understand hammy's are "clean" critters... but, really? Hee hee.. does anyone's else's ham's pick up their poo and throw it?.. I was holding Teddy the other night, and she sat on my hand, bent over and picked up her poo, and threw it!.. I've seen her do this in her cage, too.. it's not like her cage is dirty, it's rather clean, actually.. just wondering if this is common for Syrian's to do this? It does make for an "funny" laugh out loud, time, when my daughter and I see her doing this.. LOL.. just wondering, if it's a normal behavior?

Mine used to do that! She's throw it out of her cage though so in the morning there would be a nice poo pile for me to hoover hahaha x

Ha ha ha.....yes Apollo does that all the time! He can be sat on my knee and he'll throw one on my hand as if to say....here's a present!!!

My hams do this, Sirius used to spit them out of his cage on to my carpet. he also often goes into his sand cage and sits for a wash then it's head down to bum pulling poo out of his bum and spitting it forward into a heap in the sand. They are funny little creatures.

My dwarf, Mocha, will toss poop out of his hut every so often, but I've seen more Syrians do it. One in the pet store caught her poop before it was out and flung it to the side to keep her igloo clean... lol!

same here tbh only ever seen my Syrians do this, maybe because theirs are big enough to pull out, my dwarfs poos are tiny, by time it has shown enough to pull it out it prob already fell out.
