Poooo throwing??

I never knew they did this either! I read this thread 2 days ago or yesterday morning and noticed poo all over the floor below Wicket's cage.lol I put a garbage can there to catch it.

The poo they pull out of their butt is what they eat, right? I read there's garbage poo, and the poo they eat from their butt for the second round of nutrition.

My old Syrian, Willow, used to jam herself right up against the corner to pee, and fling her poop out, to the point where her wire cage lived in a larger bin, lol.

Nibbles put them in his treasure chest before I took it out because it was too chewed

Lol- they should have a " poo throwing" contest!! I read somewhere that a ham hates poo and pee's in his cage-- talk about clean hamster!! The owner said, she noticed a significant odor reducing in her hams cage, upon their inspection of the cage, found her ham had been throwing its poo out of the cage, and pee'n in a corner, and the wall was stained in his pee! How is that possible? Lol

I also think it's funny that Gizmo's pee corner in both the cage and the tank is under the water bottle. Pee and drinking water...? lol

My Syrian, Poppy, picks up the poo when she's in her ball and pokes it through the air gaps so they are left in piles aroundour room... I thought at first they were falling out as she rolled round, then I saw her doing it purposefully!!!
