Well, don't I feel silly.

Thanks for your help. I can't find the large Zoozone 2 for an affordable price, and its length is a bit much for my room anyway. I can find the Zoozone 1 for cheapish but it's smaller than what she has now. As for putting stuff in the corners to stop her chewing on the slanted slides, she's big enough and strong enough to move things (as proved with the water bottle incidents).

I'm going to give it a week to think things over, explore other avenues and talk to people. I am prepared for the fact that rehoming her might be best.

Nah, no reason to feel silly! I have the advantage of you having trained and worked in horticulture, with a special side study of herbs, for many years

Sometimes rehoming is the only way. I hope you're able to figure something out that's good for everybody! As for a cage, perhaps she doesn't need the horizontal space but would benefit from more vertical space? Maybe having to climb everywhere would do her some good. I had a ham who loved to climb and she had multiple levels with ramps everywhere.

Whatever you decide, good luck

I am. so sorry you are having such a hard time and having lost your little one in such sad circumstances. I hope someone will come along on this forum with some practical help. In the meantime to stop your new fluff from escaping again and harming the other little ones - can you put her cage within a shower cabinet or bath tub so she she contained in a restricted area provided the bathroom is warm. I had to do this until the new cage arrived as my little one Poppy had broken the security to the main door. All the best xxx

Thanks so much for not judging guys. The Mamble she's in is 50cm high with two shelves and a tube between levels, with various hanging toys, so I don't know that it's due to not climbing enough

That's a point, I'll have a think about how else to safeguard them. Thanks so much.
