There is always a slim risk that a pair will fall out and have a really nasty fight without warning but its very, very unlikely - I can only remember ever hearing of three cases where its believed to have happened that way but I've lost track of how many pairs have been separated before a disagreement escalated.
Thanks. It's good to know that they will most likely give some warning when/if they want their own space. We have an empty hamster heaven cage as well as the Barney so we're prepared for separating if need be.
I didn't get a reply to my email but the advert for the dwarf hamsters has gone so I'm assuming they have found a new home. I think that's for the best as I wouldn't have been able to give them as much time as I would have wanted to, so hopefully they have got a lovely new home where they will get loads of attention.
I hope so too. I think it's shows I'm not quite ready to take in another hamster after Fluffy left me. If I'd been ready I'd have gone and got them straight away. I think I'd like my next hamster to be 1 or 2 dwarfs though. I've been loving the pictures of your little dwarfs on your October thread.
Or it shows you wanted to be sure first, one of the two
I'm glad you've liked the pictures of the dwarf hams, at the moment I'd love to see a dwarf - or syrian... Any ham being awake would help right now (All are asleep and I need photos lol)
