Ok, so I have had Willow for about 6 months now and he has NEVER chewed his bars. Basically he has the Largest Ikea samla bin cage connected to a ferplast duna fun, so plenty of room! He also he a massive wheel, loads of hide-a-way places, sand bath, plenty of toys, plenty of wood to chew and I frequently let him run around in his ball.
I just moved into a new home 3 days ago, and he came with me (just under an hour journey) - first day, as I expected I didn't see him much - he comes out more now but has starting chewing the bars on his duna fun and I really don't want him to! I have tried hiding treats like monkey nuts around his cage to prevent boredom and I move his toys around, but still more bar chewing!!
Do you think he'll stop when he is settled in?
