Default Bar Chewing Article

Hi Guys,

I have just finished an article on Bar Chewing and I would be very grateful for some feedback if you can spare the time. Please feel free to be as critical as possible - at the end of the day I want it to be right!

Thanks in advance, Article is on the other end of the following link

This article is great, very informative and you gave some great suggestions for solutions The only thing I would say is that any type of corn is quite sugary so I would not recommend using it (for hybrids, winter whites, campbells and Chinese particularly as they are diabetes prone), and you could say that 8 inch wheels are the minimum, with 11 or 12 inches being preferred. Otherwise, this is really good

In the section about deep substrate you mention using sawdust which can cause respiratory problems in some hamsters as it is very dusty and I would want to discourage people from using it and opting for a safer option. But a lot of people have different opinions on this. Also there is one spelling mistake in that section also you wrote "fir for purpose" instead of fit apart from that it is really good and I like the fact that you mention even if you was to give the hamster a massive cage, loads of toys etc this doesn't necessarily mean the hamster will stop chewing. I think some people can jump to conclusion and assume that if a hamster is bar chewing then it is because the owner is doing something wrong. But as you mention this is not always the case

I think the article is excellent. Bar chewing is a major concern for lots of folk and any info on it is helpful.
