wallpaper ripping ham....

Originally Moo was in an Alaska cage, but as she was a mental bar chewer we moved her into a zz2.
So every thing was going good, she would climb into my hand to be brought out of the zz.

So lately she has started to rip the wallpaper off the walls in 2 corners of the bedroom and scraping off the paint.
Ive bought that "chew stoppa" from p@h and it doesnt work , i mightve just sprayed water for all the good it did.

Any ideas on what i can try?

Btw she doesn't actually eat the wallpaper she just rips it off

I have chinchillas and they like to rip wallpaper too All I can suggest if to try to block access to the wall. Maybe have some lengths of cardboard on hand that you can line the walls with up to whatever height she can reach?

Yup tried blocking, fitch bale on one corner plastic tub on the other.
She will almost squeeze herself flat just to get to it and then off she goes! Lol
Funny enough that was how she managed to climb to the top of the aubiose bale i have....
Furry butt to the wall feet digging in the plastic, she looked ever so pleased when she got to the top.

Something else to make me wonder is this, she will do all the above, squeeze herself into my other hams toys then she gets her big bum stuck in the "plenty" tube lol

I don't understand how your hamster gets to the walls, if theyre in a zz2?

My house bunny, when we first got her was obsessed with wallpaper. She's two now and doesn't touch it. All i did was watch her constantly and everytime she did it clap my hands and say no. I admit it took a couple of weeks of watching her constantly and sometimes all i wanted to do was leave her to it but in the end it worked
