1 - what cage do you have
2 - how long have you had her
3 - is she tame!!

on your other thread you say she has a castle cage, you should have alot of floor space, if she isnt happy in her cage, and is trying to escape, thats prob why

It can take a long time to tame some hamsters, where did she come from? If she came from a petstore she probably hasn't been handled before, if she came from a rescue or adoption center it could be that she's had bad experiences with people in the past.

Remember your hamster is not a little person in a skin! It does not experience emotions like humans do but acts on the way it is treated and handled. Take time and patience to tame your hamster and it will be happier to interact with you but hamsters, especially young ones, are not lap pets and they always want to go and investigate what is 'over there' That is their nature - to be curious and active and always on the go and you shouldn't expect anything else. It shows your hammy is healthy You can make up fun things for her to do with cushions and boxes etc and let her enjoy scrambling over them supervised of course. Think like a hammy and see what you come up with!

Yeah, I don't think they love us, but they can become trusting and keen to allow us to let them experience things outside of their cages

Try not to worry too much, your hammy sounds totally normal!

Hamsters are different to rats and mice, they dont interact the same way. Hamsters want to get out and explore and are not really bothered with pleasing us in any way. you can hold them and feed them but usually they just dont "love us" the way we want them too.

Rats and mice bond to people and seek their attention an comfort but hamsters are just not bothered
