hamster in season help??

My hamster is in season (heat). Is there anything i need to know or do about it?? Please help??

Not really they go into heat about every 4 days its natural and you don't need to do anything

she has a bit off damp fur around her bum and a yellow substance coming out and it stinks thats part of heat isnt it !

They do tend to get a bit wet down there and it can smell some more than other as long its not a really over powering horrid smell and her abdomen isn't bloated and she is acting her normal self then you have no need to worry

I have one female who really does pong! i have mated her a couple of times though and it seemed to make the smell worse, nothing to worry about though. she sounds like she is doing everything she's supposed to so i wouldn't worry. Maybe she feels her biological clock is ticking and is really up for it lol
