I vote for the white one to be Dill and the other one Basil.

DrKMcK is giving you good advice! We've been doing it the past three nights and Homer has made huge strides in his taming. After the second night he was stepping out of his nest onto my hand, hoping for a treat.

Plus, its fun! Just don't ear loose clothing while you're in there, your hammy might run up your pant leg or under your shirt. Trust me on this.

I'm glad this helps, but the idea itself is not an original one on my part. It's called Tub-taming and you'll find it on the hammy training threads here on HC. I wouldn't really want to take credit for someone else's terrific taming method. I have, however, used the tub as a playpen for gerbils for decades. Found out this was safer with them when I was kid when I had to clean their cages Share these ideas with other new folk when you get the chance. It creates happy hamsters and owners everywhere.

I think that Basil should be the white skinny one.

Thanks for the advice! I got a MUCH larger red house shaped cage from work today, to try and see if they can get along with 2 of everything and a larger space. So far so good! I am definitely loving the new cage, so hopefully they are too haha!
