Default Narcaleptic Hamster?

Hey guys, I was wondering if I should be kind of concerned. About two days ago, I had rescued a little robo dwarf hamster which I have named Mars. The people at petsmart had isolated him out, because the other robos were picking on him..so badly that a patch of fur was gone. But, judging from some other behaviors I think he might have been dropped way before I even got him. He's very tentative about his back legs, he lays flat, before he explores. And he seems to not really use one of his back legs unless he absolutely needs to. The other strange thing I have noticed, is that he falls asleep like instantly. You can hold him, and he be up and playful, or he is being up and playful in his cage...and a second later, he could pass right out. It takes him less than a second. I don't know if I should be concerned for him, or what I could do for him. He doesn't seem in pain, and he is active. Thanks you guys ahead for your input.

Wow. That's a new one on me. You could be right and he may have been hurt and damaged before you got him. I'd have a vet see him. I've never seen a hamster fall asleep consistently like that. I hope he's okay and I'm sure glad you took him in.
