Playing of fighting?

Not sure when to sepetate these two male baby Syrians. They snuggle up and sleep together? But a few times I have bad to sepetate them fighting, or playing. No idea how to tell. But think they are about 4 weeks old.

Fast advice appreciated as I want to sleep without worrying!

I would separate as soon as you can as you will have to soon anyway and squabbles can escalate all too quickly and you know it must happen due to their solitary nature.. The last thing you want is for one to injure the other...or worse.

Thanks, they were all snuggled up this morning but I will seperate them tonight - I feel really mean!

It is what would happen in the wild naturally. Think of it as "tough love".

They are solitary animals by nature so will soon adapt to being on their own....with you for company too of course

Aww bless them, I don't know anything about separating babies so I can't advise you, but they would have to be separated in a few short weeks anyway so don't worry about it too much; they prefer to be alone after all.

I still haven't done it...they were both running about like crazy last night, climbing the cage etc. falling over each other but not fighting at all...

Will 'reassess' in the morning - I know I have to do it, they just seemed really happy tonight together!

Bless them, I can understand not wanting to, separating Darwin when I brought him home made me feel guilty!
