I have just got back from the vets. He could not do a urine test as her bladder was empty, however he has spotted a little lump on her tummy but too small to scan I have to take her back 3rd June. Poor Pops was stressed but now snoozing away in her bed.

Hi Poppy update, she has Come out for Poppy playtime and is currently scurrying around my front room, she was quite late but there again she as had a hectic morning. Her ears are up, her eyes look bright and she is quite alert which makes me happy. Thank you everyone for your help and support.

This might be a silly question but it bears asking. Was she in heat? Did she take the lordosis position? Sometimes there are no signs that they are in heat until you rub around their backside. a good way to tell is a female in that position will have her tail pointed vertically with her rear above her head, you may also notice a little discharge from her vaginal area. If you were to touch her backside on either side of her tail she may try to orient her rear in that direction.
Just a thought of course.

I don't think she is in heat, I can usually tell, sorry Pops but when your in heat you can let off a bit of a pong.

She seems to be lethargic at the moment waking up late and not emerging from her bed, not even for treats. I hope she snaps out of it.

Hi Poppy update,I'm sorry I've not been on these past couple of days, I wanted to monitor and see if she returned to her old self. I'm pleased to say she has, at first she was very wary of us, refused to come out of her bed, only at night with a little coaxing. Now my little diva is more or less back to normal, she's eating, drinking and even started to use her old toilet, although very small amounts which is concerning but a least she is passing some water.

Hi great news, first of all I would like to thank everyone for the help and advise that's been provided in Poppy's and my time of need. Last night we had a visit to the vet and this time Tony came with me, not only was it not as stressful, Poppy went in her carry box very well and best of all after her examination the vet has given her the all clear, with the suggestion of, just keep an eye on her. The mysterious lump on her tummy has disappeared and he put it down to the infection. She has been back to her old self, a little Diva.
