Poo throwing
Just curious if this is a common thing with hamsters or maybe a boy thing? I've had 3 girl syrians and they would rarely poo on me. Sherlock on the other hand does it all the time! He'll roam around the sofa for a bit then sit on my lap grooming himself and then start pulling out his poos and throwing them all over the place My OH is a bit squeamish about it but I'm not especially bothered. I'm impressed at the range he can throw them sometimes to be honest!

Re: Poo throwing
I think they might do it when they want a snack - I've certainly seen mine doing this as if they are rejecting each poo as unsuitable until eventually they get to one they can eat (as the ones they eat and the ones that have gone round twice already are different).

Felix does this a lot, he once threw them out the bars of his cage which i though was funny until i had to pick them up.

That just made me laugh sooo hard !!! Loulou does that a lot, but she piles them in a corner ! I felt like bying her a ruler so she could make something very artistic out of it ! That's how much efforts she puts into it !!
