Re: Poo throwing
My male Syrian pulled poo out of his butt and tossed it into a neat pile. He was a very neat hammie. Occasionally, there was one he'd snack on.

Re: Poo throwing
Storm likes a tidy cage so he sits on his shelf and flings them out through the bars.
Humans aren't always that different. My OH was babysitting a friend of our daughter's yesterday and she came out of school with brown smears on her coat. 'Is that chocolate?' he asked. 'No,' she replied, nonchalantly, 'Poo.'

That coat would be off her and on fire on the pavement in seconds with me! Argh!
Chewbacca used to be fastidious about tidying his poops, and much like previously mentioned, he used to throw them out of his cage through the bars. Every morning, there would be a pile of them on the living room floor in the same place.

Re: Poo throwing
Too funny-I guess I've been lucky to escape the poop throwing behaviors! I had no idea this was something hamsters did. Learn all types of new things here! LOL
