Hi all. Fur-nando, as of yesterday, decided he would keep his very best food in his potty.
I watched him do it and groaned. So tonight, I've had to throw away a Bonio, half a monkey nut, and a pumpkin seed (along with some unidentified mush
). Tonight when I've fed him, he's steamed straight off with his favourite stuff, dumped that in his potty, right on the bit he pees on, and then put the stuff he isn't so excited about in his nest.
I never tinker in his nest removing things (he eats fresh food when out, but doesn't pouch it, so it's useful for keeping his nest un-mouldy!) between cleaning days (every fortnight or so), so I don't think it's him wanting to scent mark it. I don't understand why he has suddenly decided this is a plan? He's almost a year and a half now. And seemingly, dumb as ever.
Perhaps it will change back when his new big sleeping house comes (any day now), but in the meantime, what do you think these sudden loony changes mean?
