Default Scared Hamster?

Hi there,

I am a little worried about one of my Hamsters; a Campbells Russian Dwarf Hamster. I've had her for a few months now, and her sister; another Campbells Russian seems to be settled in fine, using all of the toys and generally active.

However Zooey seems to be, well I don't know what the word would be. She poops a hell of a lot, and seems to be in her house for around what seems to be 20 hours a day. She's eating fine as far as I can tell and she's always getting a constant supply of fresh water. I don't try and force myself on her, if she wants to stay in the bed and not go in her ball or anything then she can do, just it seems like she's very inactive.

I just don't know, she doesn't seem to be showing any illness, maybe she's just a lazy hammie, I don't know.

Thanks

EDIT: Well that's my darned luck, I get so worried I feel I have to post something on a Forum she decides to come out and have a play for an hour. Hopefully it's a sign of a new invigorated Zooey. I've just ordered some more things such as a Flying Saucer as they're competing a little too much for the Exercise wheel, so one can work out on one and the other on, well, the other.

It sounds like she was just having a lazy day. I wouldn't worry too much if she's still wanting to run on her wheel etc.

That's the problem though, she's been like this for a couple of months, well since I got her. Not just one day. Maybe she's just a naturally lazy hamster, I'm a naturally lazy human. Should I be worried about her? She's eating and drinking fine and is showing no signs of diarrhea or wet-tail, simply poop.

Thanks again for the response.

Thanks very much, as I type this she's burrowing he way through the cage and checking out her new toys. As I say she seems fine in herself, just not very active. Thanks for putting me at ease StarlightSerenity.
