Default wodent wheel

finally got Millies wodent wheel, after waiting 6 months!

she loves it but on the plastic bit theres a wee gap (i didnt realise you had build it!) which she's now noticed an keeps chewing it.

She really tugs at it and i dont want her to damage her teeth or hurt herself.

Any idea's on what i can do?

She`s probably spotted the clear plastic sheath that holds the running surface together? The piece that just slips on? My syrian has been okay with his and just runs on his wheel. I`m not sure what you can do really as it`s not something that can easily be hidden as it`s part of the wheel.

‪How to Assemble a Wodent Wheel‬‏ - YouTube

not sure about a gap; is the track fully into the front and back panels?

yea mine came in bits and i had to put it together.

I got it from petplanet. I phoned them today and said i think im missing some parts. Sadly the stock dept had closed for the day but she said she will phone me on monday. She also said she has heard of this happening before!
The bit i think im missing is the plastic clip thing, you clip the track into?

Ive also had to use cable ties to hold the wheel on the stand or it kept coming off.

Yea the tracks fully into the panels, the gaps on the track itself.

What did you wheels come with? I only got the stand, the track and the front and back panels.

I tried to order a Wodent Wheel from petplanet and ended up cancelling the order, they sent my Wheel to someone else and I got there cat litter try - and then they realised that all the wheels they had were missing clips, including the one that should have arrived with me. So they don't seem to check before sending too well.

there should be:

a track
a small piece of plastic to hold the ends of the track together to make a circle
a front panel
a back panel
2 small washers to sit on the spindle, in front and behind the actual wheel
metal stand
metal clip to hold wheel on stand

(it shows all of these in the video of how to assemble the wheel so you can see what each bit looks like) - sounds like you have got bits gone astray somewhere- hope you get it sorted soon.

I had one from pet planet and I was missing a washer, making it noisy. I don't think its unusual for pet planet to forget parts!
