Default Hyper hamster

I had Molly out of her cage last night, she was her normal self at first but soon started going hyper. I could hardly keep hold of her and she was jumping around when I put her on my knee. When I put her in her ball she was sort of attacking the lid but was fine running around when I put her on the floor. After about 10 mins I thought she might have calmed down a bit but was still hyper when I held her again and she nipped my arm and pee'd on me.

Is this normal behaviour or is she trying to tell me something's wrong? If it's stressing her out being held I don't want to do that but then I don't want to just leave her either.

Oh, better just say she's only a baby, (coming up to 9 weeks) and we've only had her for 10 days.

Thanks for any help

My Cookie is like this. When I first get her out she's a picture of calmness, sitting on my hand enjoying all the attention. Then I think her urge to explore comes through and she's zooming off in all directions
