Default Luckie & Saffie

Thought i'd upload two videos of them Luckie is such a runt, soooo small and fragile. Doesn't seem like it on video but she is lol

oh and recently they been starting to "play" fight, i think its play fight anyway, no squeaking or anything. And as mentioned on another post, I've noticed that Saffie now stands on her back two legs to look at us!

now my question is! what exactly are the symptoms for a hamster being pregnant? and what do they act like, behave?

We have a separate dwarf called Chanel which is a male. The idea was to eventually look into the possibility of breeding her with Saffie. (Chanel is a medium/long hair albino russian). Every time we take Chanel out and she's by the others cage she goes mad! funny made. Not insane.

Hopefully, Luckie hasn't turned out to be a boy

Apparently you often don't know until they're about to give birth, they can often be more cage aggressive when they're pregnant, I've heard.
And dwarfs apparently keep their pregnancy fairly hidden, but spill over at the hips just before giving birth.
If I were you, I'd check all their bits.
You should be very careful before breeding them, I'm afraid that my little girl is pregnant after she and her brother were sold to me as two boys, and it scares the life out of me...she could die during child birth...or eat all her babies.. Just...think very hard before you do it.. and definitely double check their bits. With me, my girls fur covered her nipples except in some positions, but the boys was very obviously a boy.

I hope for your sake that they're both girls..

Also, people tend to recommend steering clear of breeding them if they're from a pet shop as they are often hybrids, and you can end up with problems.. I think. I'll let somebody with more experience tell you more...

And they're cute..very interesting colours too
