Biting & chewing after two years?
Hello,
As some people might know Chloe my little winter white is a lucky little thing having come through major surgery at the age of two.
It seems now things have turned a bit odd, she has suddenly started biting and nipping me and chewing her cage to bits. She is now two year two months (odd I know), but has never bitten myself or hubby at all. She normally jumps on to your hand and wants cuddles.
I really hate this new behaviour, any ideas guys.

Re: Biting & chewing after two years?
I think it is likely due to the op and her age I'm afraid. She probably feels a little delicate still and much more fragile than she used to. With deteriorating hearing, eyesight and senses she is likely constantly on guard. This happened to our little WW Harriet when she got very old. She started nipping all the time.

Oh no, when she first came home she was so affectionate and just want to be on our hands, I guess this phase has passed. She went to stay with a friend and this only started when she came home, so that could be linked. Saying all this she looks great, has started eating properly lately so thats a plus.

Yes the biting is continuing, and now she drinks lots and lots. I feel she is quite blind and not so good yet again.
